Beverly High School Mural

18’ x 10’ interior lobby mural at Beverly High School, Beverly, MA. With support in part by a Mass Cultural Council STARS Residency grant and Beverly Cultural Council grant, we worked with a group of AP Studio Art and advanced art junior and senior students to co-design and install a hand-painted mural at Beverly High School. In February 2023, we hosted three consecutive workshops to identify the mural creation process, develop ideas, and critique and refine a design that reflects the visions, interests, and voices of the students. Students were then invited to participate in the hand-painted application of the mural over the course of two weeks.
